Avadhuta Chalisa

Description

Our latest album (2023) contains the long-anticipated Jnanamritam Samarasam Chalisa consisting of 40 verses of Nondual Wisdom from the Avadhuta Gita, each verse ending with the confirmation: “I am pure Existence, Wisdom and Bliss, boundless as the sky, infinite like space.” This chalisa has been sung and taught during SRV seminars, and in a series of 15 classes on the SRV YouTube Channel (“The Nondual Teachings of the Avadhut”).  Now, you can listen to 37 minutes of deep nondual Wisdom by the incomparable sage, Dattatreya, offered by Babaji Bob Kindler on an instrumental background of tanpura, autoharp, and cello.

To complement the Jnanamritam Samarasam Chalisa, we have included Shankaracharya’s “Six Stanzas on Nirvana,” the famous, Nirvanashatakam, with each verse ending with “I am pure Knowledge and Bliss; I am Shiva!  I am Shiva!”
